Our Vision

“Promoting Archery”

Club Objectives

To enable the practice of archery in accordance with the Grand National Archery Society motto of ‘Union, Trueheart and Courtesie’ by

·          promoting the sport of archery in the Fakenham area.

·          organising club target days and competitions for members of the club.

·          organising a handicap system following the official handicap tables of the GNAS.

·          extending hospitality to archers from other clubs and/or counties.

·          appointing committee members to deal with matters which are the direct concern of the club and/or its members.

We have a club development plan that sets out how we will achieve these broad objectives.

The Grand National Archery Society

Club membership includes affiliation to the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS), one of the oldest National Societies and who have a long and well-recorded history of Target Archery. The GNAS is the largest archery Society in Britain and organises tournaments not only under the license of FITA (the international governing body for archery - the Federation Internationale de Tir a l’arc) but also according to its own 'rounds' and Rules.
